Rachel James - Yoga Teacher

Rachel James is a highly experienced Yoga teacher at Khiron Clinics. With over 30 years of personal practice and teaching since 2006, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her classes. She completed her Hatha Yoga teacher training with the prestigious British Wheel of Yoga, graduating in 2009. Rachel’s deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, particularly the nervous system, the brain, and the vagus nerve, enriches her teaching approach. She embraces a trauma-informed perspective when working with the body and excels at adapting her yoga classes for individuals with mobility issues.

Tom Gold-Blyth - Tai Chi Teacher

Tom Gold-Blyth is a dedicated Tai Chi teacher who specializes in the therapeutic application of this ancient practice. With 25 years of personal experience, Tom was an ‘inner circle’ student of Master San Gee Tam, a renowned leader in the Golden Flower School. Through his lineage, Tom has gained a deep knowledge of Tai Chi, blending classical techniques with his own insights. Drawing on over a decade of working with clients at Khiron Clinics and ongoing studies on applying Polyvagal Theory to the ancient science of Qi, Tom’s teaching is informed by both practice and continuous learning. He continues to refine his skills through his ongoing studies with his teacher, Master Annukka.

Together, Rachel and Tom will guide you on a transformative journey during the retreat, helping you unlock the power of connection and healing through Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, and group communication activities. Their expertise and dedication ensure a nurturing and impactful experience for all participants.
