I have long held the belief that early trauma is stored in the body and that mind and body connections are profound. It was when I was studying Brain and Behaviour for my degree (mature student) and learnt about the amygdala I had a eureka moment. But, I thought, if the chemicals were laid down at the time of trauma how could they be repaired or released. It is endlessly fascinating and exciting work. Thank you again.]]></description>
